Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers

I originally got the Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers back in April for my birthday but only really use them for special occasions as I’m still getting the hang of putting them in and using them. They tend to be my go to tool for curling my hair when I need them to last and not drop or for when I need that extra bit of volume for a night out.

I used to always use GHDs for my curls but now they never seem to last or the volume doesn’t stay; I’m not sure whether it’s because they are a few years old and the coating isn’t as great on the plates anymore, who knows! The rollers take about two minutes to heat up so I usually put on some moisturiser whilst they are getting to their temperature. I tend to start from the bottom of my head at the nape of my neck, curling the rollers under as I work my way up in sections until I get to my T-section.

To create a bit more volume, I put the rollers down my parting facing forward rather than on the sides of which my hair drops. Depending on how I’m styling my hair after, I’ll either curl the rollers under or over on my hair at the front. I’ve created a Lana del Rey look before by curling under and then pinning it into place after taking them out until the hair cools down. If I want a more beach waves look, or the front hair out of my face, I’ll curl the rollers over the top.

They take about half an hour to curl the hair and cool down so whilst I’m waiting, I’ll usually do my make up and get dressed. Before I take them out, I put a light spritz of hair spray through my hair to keep the curls neat. I find it best to take them out from the top, downwards in order to make sure that you don’t pull any loose strands that may have got caught in other rollers. Once I’ve removed them all, I’ll either just tousle my fingers through my hair to separate the curls and make it look more natural and put another mist of hairspray on top. If I’m going for more of a Lana look, I’ll brush through my curls and smooth through with serum. I always finish with hairspray just to ensure that my hair stays in place.

I have fallen absolutely in love with these rollers and really want to try some more Enrapture products, especially the totem styler. The curls don’t drop out for hours and the volume is great. I used them for my day at Chester Races if anyone saw a picture of me from there. If I’m wanting slightly tighter, more defined curls, I’ll use mousse on my hair whilst it’s still wet and let it dry.

Have you ever used the Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers before? If you have any reviews of any of the Enrapture products, please feel free to leave your link in the comments; I’d love to have a read for myself.
