One thing that often surprises people is that my brown brows aren’t natural. I don’t plaster any thick pencil lines on and they look very natural. However, I do get them tinted on a monthly basis so I thought I’d show you my eyebrow routine; how they are naturally, after I’ve had them done and then once I’ve filled them in a little with my brow powder. The photo above is the my finished brow look, they possibly look slightly more styled than usual as they were freshly threaded.
Naturally, I have very blonde, whispey brows that like to go pretty much skin colour in the summer with the sunlight. I have a tendency to get a bit of a fluffy monobrow when they grow out too which is oh so attractive! I first started getting my brows properly shaped and tinted about two years ago when I got HD Brows for the first time. I loved them but they got a little high maintenance and expensive on a monthly basis. Since then, I’ve discovered the brow bar in the Manchester Arndale near Clas Ohlson and Argos. The ladies there really work wonders!
So on a monthly basis I get my eyebrows threaded and tinted and it comes to £12.50. What a beautiful price that was to hear the first time I ever had them done. I’ve been going there since summer 2012 and haven’t really been anywhere else apart from my mum having a dabble on them. Giving eyebrows a good shape, and for me, defining and making the colour a little darker, frames my face perfectly.
When doing my everyday make-up routine, I just use a little brow powder by Wow Brows to fill them in along with concealer to define them a little more. I like that they look more structured with a bit more colour. Considering I never used to do anything to my brows, I can’t leave the house without doing them now; mascara and brows seem to be one of the principle parts of my routine now.
What do you use and get done to keep your brows in check?
