Uh oh! I went into town the other week and ended up having a little bit of a Lush haul with it being pay day. I’d been looking online a a fair few of the seasonal bits and so had a little bit of a play in store and then settled on the following five products; The Melting Snowman Bath Melt, Cinders Bath Bomb, Northern Lights Bath Bomb, Avobath Bath Bomb and Lord of Misrule (which I can only find on the American and Canadian site).
The Melting Snowman Bath Melt: I love using this every year! Cocoa butter is one of my favourite scents so this teamed with Christmas spices makes it even better. The other main ingredients are cinnamon leaf oil, clove leaf oil, sweet orange oil and patchouli oil.
Cinders Bath Bomb: This is a bath bomb I’ve always wanted to try because the colours look so pretty. It’s supposed to remind you of bonfire night which I’m not too sure of but the colours definitely do, and the popping candy is a nice touch. The underlying scents are cinnamon leaf oil, sweet almond oil and sweet orange oil.
Northern Lights Bath Bomb: I saw one of the girls in Lush demoing this and can’t wait to try it! It fizzes like a firework and has blues and yellows with a shimmer running through inside. This has a much more floral scent in comparison to the others I bought as it contains jasmine absolute and ylang ylang oil.
Avobath Bath Bomb: Not part of the limited season collection but I smelt this and fell in love! It smells so fresh as it has lemongrass in it so will be nice on a Saturday afternoon to wake me. It also contains avocado oil, extra virgin olive oil and bergamot oil to help keep your skin moisturised.
Lord of Misrule: I can’t actually find this on the UK Lush site but it’s been inspired by the Pagan Feast of Fools and contains pachouli oil, black pepper and vanilla. I couldn’t make my mind up on the scent to start with but I can’t wait to try it! After looking online, it also has pink inside and looks incredibly pretty.
