Review: October Glossybox 1

I have to say, I’m actually relatively impressed with this months Glossybox for a couple of reasons! One being that I was sent an item that I had already received previously and rang the customer services and was immediately sent two new items! Wooh extras! And secondly, every single item was a good sized sample and nothing was a product tester I could just pick up in my local Boots or similar. So what did I get? Dermalogica Clean Start System (which I have previously had), Anatomicals Body Scrub, Yves Rocher Anti-wrinkle Moisturiser and a lipstick, Green People Self Tan Lotion and Skinetica Anti-Blemish Liquid. As usual, I’ll give you all a little insight into my first impressions of this month’s products apart from the Clean Start which you can see here.

Review: October Glossybox 2I fell in love with the Yves Rocher mascara in one of the previous boxes so I was really happy to be sent a few more bits by the brand. The Instant Anti Wrinkle Moisturiser seems to be really hydrating and sinks into the skin nicely. I haven’t seen any results wrinkle wise as I don’t have any! The only thing I’m surprised is that there isn’t an SPF in it which is a shame.

Review: October Glossybox 3Another make-up product by Yves Rocher! The colour of this YR Lipstick in Framboise is gorgeous, I’m really loving bright reds at the moment with autumn coming around. I haven’t tested out the staying power of it yet but the formula itself is smooth and creamy on my lips, I’m looking forward to using it!

Review: October Glossybox 4I’ve never heard of the brand Skinetica before but I was quite pleased to get this as I’ve recently had a few blemishes on my forehead and around my nose. After using it for a couple of days I can already see the difference. I’m not sure if this is down to me starting a more regular skin care routine but the Skinetica has definitely helped and I’m considering purchasing it.

Review: October Glossybox 5I have loved Anatomicals since I was about 17 now! They have some lovely eye gels and lip balms so it was nice to get something from a brand I already love but for a product I haven’t used. It smells of pink grapefruit so is nice and refreshing for those morning showers and contains apricot seed for exfoliating. It reminds me a little of the Sanctuary body scrub so I am looking forward to trying this out in the morning!

Review: October Glossybox 6Last but not least, the Green People Self Tan Lotion. Again, I haven’t really heard of this brand so it’s nice to try something new. I currently stand by Sienna X for tanning and I’m getting trained to give spray tans with my mum next month but it will be nice to try a different. The only thing I’m not keen on with this is that it has rose hip in it which I really can’t stand but I shall give it a go anyway!

So I hope you’ve enjoyed having a look at the goodies I’ve been sent by Glossybox this month. I must admit, I was considering stopping my subscription because I was getting really frustrated with the amount of samples rather than miniature products, keep the boxes like this and I shall be a happy customer! If you’re interested in getting one, head over to the GlossyBox site!
