Review: Tangle Teezer

Tangle Teezer

I’ve always wanted to try the Tangle Teezer and used Leah’s over the summer in Florida a couple of times but completely forgot about it once I was home. When I went to Bruges the other weekend, I saw one in the Duty Free shop and instantly decided to buy it. It claims to brush through wet or dry hair without any tugging or pulling. I bought The Original one in fluorescent pink and it works beautiful.

Tangle Teezer

The teeth have two different lengths and really do brush through my hair without tugging or pulling. I don’t ever use a hairbrush on wet hair because I hate the feeling it gives my scalp if your hair has more elasticity like mine tends to. The Tangle Teezer doesn’t stretch my hair at all so I’m happy to use it when I have soaking wet hair. I’m due a hair cut soon but it still doesn’t yank the drier ends of my hair.

The only negative that I have to say about the Tangle Teezer is that I wish it had a handle as I often drop it, which, after speaking to other people, happens to them more than a regular brush too. It’s more convenient to put in my bag with no handle though so it’s swings and roundabouts!

I’ve been looking online at the different Tangle Teezer versions and wondered if anyone else has used any of the others? What do you think to them?
