Umberto Giannini Frizzi Intense Recovery Mask

A few months ago, I was sent the Umberto Giannini Frizzi Intense Recovery Mask from their new designed range. I’ve fallen slightly in love with a fair few products by them since having my hair cut by Ben in Harvey Nichols, Manchester. I hadn’t used one of the intense conditioners so I couldn’t wait to try it out!

It contains Argan Oil which helps to smooth out any frizz and repairs damaged areas by moisturising it from the inside out. The smell of the Frizzi Intense Recovery Mask is amazing once again; you can smell it when your hair is dry too but it’s not over-powering. I either use it after shampooing instead of a normal conditioner or if I am in the gym and go in the sauna/steam room, I’ll apply it to damp hair just before for a more luxurious treatment. I’ll shampoo and condition as usual afterwards but the anti-frizz effect still holds.

I don’t have incredibly frizzy hair naturally but when I blow dry with curling brushes myself, my hair tends to look like it’s been in some humidity so I decided to put it to the test with this! After using the conditioner, I used the Ultimate Curls Nourishing Oil to help style my hair too. After blow drying, I was left with volume and curls without any frizz which was great for me!

If I’m honest, I’m not really a fan of pots of conditioner just because I find them quite messy when you’re in the shower but most seems to be packaged this way. I love the design though; a silver, plastic pot that’s not too big. I really like the branding that Umberto Giannini have now as it looks much more luxurious and high end.

I love giving my hair a treat every so often so it was nice receive this in the post to try out. I’m slowly getting through a lot of the new ranges from Umberto Giannini so will put some more reviews up on the other products in the forthcoming weeks. Have you ever tried any of this brand? What did you think?
