I saw from another blogger that Glamour magazine were giving away a free Eyeko Skinny Eyeliner with this month’s issue (July 2014). I’ve always wanted to try this brand but forget about them as they’re not in Boots where I usually tend to shop. So I popped to Tescos and picked one up to try it out. I have instantly fallen in love after the first use, especially as I didn’t have to pay the £12 price tag! I love my L’Oreal Superliner but this is ever so slightly better I think.
I love the packaging for the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner, it’s a sleek silver plastic pen that has a somewhat luxurious feel to it. The one I have is in black but I think it also came in Navy but I wasn’t really too keen of the idea of a dark blue line given my eye colour! Eyeko claims it can be used for thick or thin lines because of the felt, tapered nib. I prefer this one to my L’Oreal as it is slightly firmer and think it makes it easier to control and put a nice neat line along my upper lashes. I’ve tried a thick and a thin line and it most definitely does both really well. It contains Sodium Hyaluronate which claims to help prevent smudges and to make sure it lasts a long time. After a day at work, with a slight drizzle walking to and from and then popping into town after, it still hadn’t budged and I definitely didn’t have any panda like eyes. It’s really easy to use and can create some great definition and lines for different styles.
I really like the results of this liner, definitely recommend picking up a Glamour magazine for it. Also one of my favourite magazines too so it’s just a bonus! Have any of you tried using the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner? What did you think of it?
