My friend Harriet has now started working with and selling Forever Living products. She asked if I’d like one to try out so jumped at the chance! I was in need of some new facial moisturiser for dry skin so she recommended the Forever Aloe Moisturising Lotion as it was rich and contains collagen and elastine to help keep my skin soft and supple throughout the winter months.
So far, I’ve really enjoyed using it! The Forever Aloe Moisturising Lotion comes in a tube bottle so it’s nice and easy to use in a hurry – no messing about with lids and tubs. The moisturiser itself is fairly thick but soaks into the skin after a few minutes without feeling greasy. It leaves a primer feel to it slightly so makes a perfect base for foundation. I’ve been putting an extra big bit on at night as it is really moisturising, especially as it’s colder now, and I wake up with no dry spots.
When using it on my body, I do find it a little thick and it takes good bit of rubbing to soak in but it has really helped with keeping dry spots at bay and getting rid of any imperfections. I just need to remember to not wear tight, thick leggings on the same day when I’m in a rush at the gym! There’s not too much of a scent, it’s fairly neautal. I prefer more fruity scents for body creams but it’s perfect for my face.
All in all, I love using the Forever Aloe Moisturising Lotion as a base for make-up as it appears to leave a film-like layer as a primer would. It’s also super moisturising, especially when putting extra on at night and waking up feeling super smooth and hydrated.
If you’re interested in looking what offers Harriet has available on the Forever Living products, check out her Facebook. She also tries out the products herself and reviews some on her blog so if you want to see her results check that out here. I can also thoroughly recommend the Forever Aloe Lips with Jojoba which I’ve used before.
