Rimmel is a brand that has gone by the wayside for me. Just recently, I’ve been loving them more and more. I associate it with being younger as I always used Rimmel products when I was in my teens. My sister got me this Rimmel Lasting Finish Kate Moss Lipstick in Rossetto (08) last Christmas and it’s one that I always have in my handbag. It’s a dusky pink nude and pretty much goes with whatever I’m wearing. It’s kept in my bag for those days when I forget to put any lipstick on!
The packaging is nice, not as tacky as I remember Rimmel being. It is a matte black but stays clean even though it is generally rolling around in my bag. It’s a perfect dusky pink nude that suits my skin tone perfectly. It has some underlying brown tones so will look even better with a tan and my freckles out.
In terms of staying power, it’s not too bad for a drug store lippy. I put it on in the mornings, head to work then a few hot drinks and hours later, I’ll retouch it around lunch time. I don’t use a lip liner but the Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in East End Snob goes really well. Which I also something I really want in my life right now, I’ll just add it to that growing list of products…
The Rimmel Lasting Finish Kate Moss Lipstick in Rossetto is a great pinkish nude. When so many similar products from other brands are out of stock at the moment, it’s a great alternative. It’s nice to find a colour that’s similar but still a little different to the popular high-end ones. For £5.49 (Boots), I love it and it’s a perfect lipstick to keep in your handbag as it’s neutral and goes with most outfits and looks.
