I always like to think of this eyeshadow as the one that time forgets; I’ve had it for years, it’s one of my favourites but I’ll go through phases of using it all the time to then going months without and forgetting about it. The MAC Eyeshadow in Tempting has to be one of my all time ‘go-ti’s’ in terms of shadows that always work with my skin colouring and for whatever the occasion.
As you can see from above, it is a shimmery, medium golden-brown and seems to suit me whether I’m tan in the summer or I’m at my fairest in the summer. The golden flecks running through it help to draw out my eye colour even more so and the brown is the perfect tone for my freckles.
As with most MAC eyeshadows, it’s staying power is awesome and it lasts all day. I usually team it up with a primer just in case, as I do with any shadow, just to doubly make sure that it’s not going to crease during an unusually long day. When I apply this, I use a fluffy brush and then if I want to accentuate it on any part of my lid, I’ll use a flatter one. You can really build Tempting up to create some beautiful smokey looks if you need to. I’ll also use a smaller brush to line my lower lashes and then finish off my top and bottom lids with some brown pencil liner. I find that this gives a much softer look and helps to bring out my eyes even more.
Have you ever used MAC Eyeshadow in Tempting? I’m sure I won’t be the only one with Holy Grail products like this that they forget about too, what are yours?
