I’ve had my Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers a few months now and they’ve become a staple. They took me a while to get the hang of but I love them. They’re my go-to tool for when I need curls to last or when I need that extra bit of volume. If you’re in a rush they are great. You can put them in, do your make up and then your hair is done by the time you’ve finished!
I’ll often use my GHDs to curl my hair but only if it’s the day after washing my hair. The Enrapture Heated Rollers take about two minutes to heat up so no longer than any other tool.
How to Use Your Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers
There are so many ways to use your Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers and everyone has there own preference. Here’s the simplest way I curl my hair with them.
Tip: Use mousse in your hair after washing to help hold your curls in.
- Put your rollers on and leave them for a few minutes.
- Part your hair into four sections while they’re heating up.
- Clip the top sections up so that they don’t interfere whilst putting the rollers in from the bottom first.
- Take an inch thick section and start wrapping your hair around the roller from the bottom up.
- When you get closer to your root, put the clip in.
- Give your hair a quick spray with hair spray and leave them in for around 20-30 minutes to be safe.
It takes a while to get used to positioning them correctly. I find if I got too close to the root, a line can be left where the clip was. as they can leave a line on your hair. I usually pop my straighteners over this to fix it.
When it comes to putting the curlers in around my parting, I’ll often put the rollers down my parting facing forward. This gives a much softer finished look and a little bit more volume in my finished look.
Depending on how I’m styling my hair after, I’ll either curl the rollers under or over on my hair at the front. To create that ‘Lana del Rey’ vibe, I’ll finish off with some pin curls until I’m about to go out.
If I want more of beach waves look, I’ll only use the rollers halfway up my hair. This doesn’t create as much volume and leaves the curls more loose. Try to use the bigger rollers for this.
I’ll usually do my make up to save time whilst my rollers are in. Always use a light spritz of hair spray and through your hair to keep the curls neat. I recommend taking them out in the reverse of the way you put them in. Sometimes stray hairs can be caught which can pull slightly.
I’ll either finish by pulling my fingers through my hair to separate the curls for a natural look. If I’m going for more of a Lana look, I’ll comb through my curls and smooth through with oil or hair serum. I’ll always finish with hairspray just to ensure that my hair stays in place.
I have fallen absolutely in love with these rollers and really want to try some more Enrapture products. The curls don’t drop out for hours and the volume is great. They’re quick and easy to use and it’s also the one hair tool that I’ve never managed to burn myself on!
