Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil

Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil

Another little gift that I got from Leah for my birthday was this Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil. I’ve been using it for over a month now and I’m really wowed by it and completely in love! I used the Vitamin E range quite a bit when I was younger but this newbie to the range is definitely one of my favourites and becoming one of my staples.

I love the packaging it comes in! It comes in a glass bottle that has a ceramic-like feel and has a squeezey dropper that you unscrew. The recommendation is to pop a few drops on you palms and then rub them together to warm the oil up. You’re then supposed to pat it on your face and then use a circular motion to spread it over your cheeks, forehead and around your mouth and chin. I usually find that five drops are enough and I tend to put it on my t-zone area first and then spread it over my cheeks and then down to my chin.

The first thing that I noticed was the smell, it is beautiful! It reminds me of talc or baby shampoo and I love the scent it leaves on my skin. It contains wheatgerm oil which is jam packed full of nutrients; Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin D, antioxidants and fatty acids which all help not only to moisturise but also help to regenerate the skin to make it more radiant. Skin also finds wheatgerm oil very easy to absorb which means by the morning, it has all sunk in nicely.

The Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil claims to replenish and recharge the skin within eight hours. I pop it on after my night time cleansing routine and then get some beauty sleep! I’ve found that I wake up with silky soft skin that feels wonderfully moisturised and not oily at all. The serum has soaked into my skin and I don’t have any dry patches whatsoever. I don’t find it too greasy and it hasn’t given me any spots either which I was surprised at as oily products usually do. If my skin has been exceptionally dry, I’ll often put a light moisturiser on over the top but otherwise, I don’t really need anything more.

I am absolutely over the moon with this product and have been using it pretty much every night. It has got rid of any dry patches and has left my skin feeling baby soft and smelling incredible. It costs £12 for 28ml and I think that it’s worth every penny. Have any of you used it before, what do you think?
