Ever since getting the Miss Selfridge Autumn-Winter 2014 email, I’ve had my eye on these amazing Amour Cut Out Boots. I looked on the website around pay day and realised that they were in the online only, Back-to-School 20% sale. My housemate, Georgina, is still a student so I nabbed her code for getting a further 10% off, oh how I miss being at university!! Instead of paying £45, I paid around £32 which was brilliant.
I must admit, when I first wore them, they made my feet really sore and gave me blisters, but this tends to happen with any shoes for me. Once they had healed, I started wearing them properly with no aches and pains – yay! I love the cut out detailing and the gold buckle at the side which makes them stand out more. There was another similar pair in Miss Selfridge with rose gold detailing which I loved but they were pointy and very tight when I tried them on.
The Amour Cut Out Boots can be worn with most autumn/winter outfits that I have tried on so far so I’m hoping they will see me through and become a staple in my wardrobe for this year’s cold weather. My favourite thing to wear them with a the moment are skinny black jeans but I think they will look great with my oxblood trousers from Topshop too. I might end up wearing frilly ankle socks with them too once it gets colder, but for now, the little bit of a breeze is welcomed.
