iPhone Cleanse

iPhone Cleanse

Recently I made the decision to restore and have an iPhone cleanse with only the apps I use most regularly. I must admit, I thought I would end up re-downloading a lot more than I have so I thought I’d write a post on which applications I find most useful and ones that I can’t live without. Some are for blogging, some I just use day in and day out, but these are my top 5 favourite ones.

  1. Twitter
  2. This one of the apps I check first thing in the morning and last thing at night. I use it throughout out the day when I find things I like online, use it for work and generally to browse and get to know brands better. It’s an amazing way of promoting your blog and really easy to use on the iPhone, the layout has been updated recently which I absolutely love!

  3. WordPress
  4. I constantly use this to check out my statistics, look at comments and sometimes re-read through drafted posts before putting them online. I haven’t ever really used blogger, I’ve always been on WordPress from the start as I find it so much more customisable and easy.

  5. Instagram
  6. I don’t think this one really needs explaining, it’s everyone’s favourite photo posting app right? I must admit, I mainly use it for food but I’m trying to do more with it. I always used to post blog related images but haven’t recently so need to get back into the hang of doing that more.

  7. Timehop
  8. I love this app! It’s a nice little reminder of the past, the good and the bad. I love looking at my old pictures on it, usually makes me smile loads. Just recently, I’ve had some super cute pictures of Brambles when he was a kitten a year ago, he was so tiny!!

  9. MyFitnessPal
  10. Now this is an app that has become such a massive part of my lifestyle now. Since starting LDN Muscle again, I’ve been coating my macronutrients each day and staying within the percentages as much as I can. If you’re looking to have a complete diet/lifestyle overhaul, I really can’t recommend it enough! It’s so easy to track what you’re doing but you do have to get used to weighing your food religiously but you soon get the knack of it. I’ll be doing a much bigger post with everything I’ve been doing to lose weight and tone up in a month or so.

These are just the top 5 apps I use the most. There are a fair few other that I use regularly like banking apps to check my accounts on the go, other social apps such as Snapchat, Tumblr and Pinterest and general everyday ones such as Uber. I love having a clean, fresh, minimal phone. I don’t think I realised quite how many of the apps I didn’t use. For many, I use them every so often like the Trainline app when I’m planning on taking a trip home.

So what are your most used applications on your phone? Do you have a specific layout or just have folders with everything organised?
