Hello November! Well, it was quite a month! I took part in Blogtober as much as I physically could, I started my new job, moved into a house share in Chester, moved all of my stuff back to the North West and even got to deal with a delightful bit of food poisoning at the end of October. I’m glad to leave that behind! There is so much going on this month and I can’t wait to get stuck in with everything.
Things I’m Looking Forward To
It’s been two years sice I went to a bonfire as it’s obviously not celebrated in America! I can’t wait to go, bundled up with a hot drink and my friends watching a fireworks display. I’m kind of hoping it gets a little bit colder before then so that I don’t feel like a hot mess wrapped up in a jummie, scarf and coat standing next to a fire.
The colder it gets, the more I realise how much I love autumn and winter fashions. With it also being payday today, I’m going to treat myself to a few new bits for the season. I’m thinking pleather and suede skirts, roll-neck sweats and some new boots. Layers are my favourite and an easy outfit to throw together when the weather makes a turn. I love my scarfs and have a great selection of them so I can’t wait to be able to wear them more and more.
Can I just say, this is probably the most excited I’ve been over a series for a long time. More than Bake-Off. There, I said it. I grew up watching the Gilmore Girls and adored the characters. The ending was so sad with the unanswered questions on Lorelai and Rory’s life that it left. But, this month, it’s finally back on Netflix for a four part mini series of a year in the life of the Gilmore Girls. I intend on getting pizza, sitting in my pjs and thoroughly enjoying it on Friday 25th November.
I am so excited to finally get my hair dyed! It’s been so long since I had anything done to it. I’m a little nervous because it’s not my cousin doing it this time but I’m sure it’s going to be great. So, as of the Saturday, I should have roots close to what it is now that blend into a rose gold colour. It’s a big change but I’m very much welcoming it. My hair is so boring right now and it’s in need of something different. Along with that, I’m also getting a lot of length chopped off. I haven’t quite decided what I’m having done other than I want it to be around shoulder length so if you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know them!
I have a fair few plans to see friends I haven’t seen for ages this month. A lot being Disney people but also a couple in London that I haven’t seen since I left. We always talk but it has been months if not more than a year since I saw some of my friends up and down the UK. I’m ready for a good ol’ chin wag, drinks and copious amounts of food with them.
Starting LDN Muscle
I don’t know if you remember that I used to do LDN Muscle before moving to Florida? Well now that I’m properly settled into Chester and I’m getting my first paycheck, I’ll be starting LDN Muscle again next week. I’m excited and terrified at the same time because I know how addictive and time consuming it was last time. However, I’ve never had such great results in terms of strength and tone so I’m determined to do it again.
When I was at uni, I was a part of the Pole Fitness Society in my final year at Manchester Met. It’s one of the funnest forms of exercise that I’ve ever done and one of the things that helped me lose loads of weight previously. Pole Dancing is a killer workout and I’ll be doing as my LISS workouts in LDN Muscle. With moving to Chester and not knowing many people, it’s another way to get to know more. I’m hoping I’ll be doing some spins gracefully by the end of the month and that my body confidence is going to increase so much more.
So, not as many aims this month but I’m going to be pretty busy to say the least. I do want to do a bit of a blog shuffle at some point but I’m not sure that it’s the best thing to do right before Christmas. Let’s get November underway!
